Well, we should admit that K-beauty mysteries are no longer unknown to us mostly because of Korean beauty vloggers and bloggers. They have opened our eyes in so many ways! If you follow one or many of them, in less than a month your beauty perspective and methodology will change.
Starting from Ssin, one of the most talented Korean beauty vloggers out there, Lamuqe, the beauty hostess of “Pretty Avenger” which loves to re-create different makeup looks from famous K-pop idols and finishing with Kwaktori, the anime recreate specialist which will definitely leave you breathless. The list goes on and on, but the most important thing is to find the right K-beauty guru which understands your needs perfectly.
Despite their differences and uniqueness, when it comes to their skincare regimen and essential makeup methods, they are all the same! And it’s not a big surprise considering their mother country right? They have born in the middle of some beauty freaks and skincare fanatics such are Korean women.
So, we all have many things to learn from them, especially when it comes to maintaining a glowy looking skin. Here are the life-changing tips I learned and practiced from them:
Cleaning is the first, ultimate rule!
Korean women are so obsessed with cleaning their skin, they tend to sometimes clean it more than twice a day! Also, using an oil-based cleanser might be the ultimate favorite type of lotion. Cleaning, or double-cleaning, is their first step when it comes to taking care of their skin. So, watch and learn!
Every woman must own some sheet masks
And she should also carry her favorite sheet mask with her every time she’s traveling. This is what Korean women do and you can see their perfect skin right? A good, deep moisturizer sheet mask, is seen to be as important as drinking enough water during a day. It deeply nourishes and hydrates every type of skin and that is why K-beauty inventors love them!
Your face needs a massage too
These women are so obsessed with their skin; they frequently give their face a good, decent massage to make the blood flow. By doing that, the skin’s cells with instantly reactivate and also, the skin’s barrier will get stronger. Korean beauty gurus along with the other women, never skip this step! They start from their cheekbones and go up starting from there. Mostly, they prefer doing it while their face is just nourished with good oil based product or a moisturizer.
Cherry lollipop lips
Have you ever noticed Korean beauty guru’s lips? They all look so natural with a cherry feeling. If you haven’t, it’s time to check them and see for yourself. K-beauty experts tend to skip as much as they can a fully covered lip. They do only use the lipstick to make their lips look fuller and nourished. Usually, they try to gently apply a little bit o lipstick with their finger right in the middle of both of their lips. The result is just unbelievable!
Never, never skip sunscreen
Korean women are obsessed when it comes to taking every measure to protect their fragile skin. When it comes to their strong routine, which they never skip, a good sunscreen is always included. Even on a rainy day, you can never leave the house without first applying the sun protector all over your face and chest. It’s a rule!
Diet counts as a product
Yes, it’s true. Korean women put a lot of effort into organizing a healthy skin diet. The strongly believe that the food we eat is best represented in our skin’s health. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, eating a lot of steamed-cooked vegetables and tea, are some of the elements and ingredients they try to include in their everyday diet.
Last but not least, keep it natural
One of the best tips I have personally learned from them is to always try and keep it natural. You see, Korean beauty gurus, which in this case represent all K-beauty rules and women, try to mostly focus on feeding their skin with some good quality products. By that, they mean a good natural-oriented skin care product which works directly on the skin due to its active ingredients. They do not tend to apply a heavy daily make up or counter their face too much. Simplicity is what mostly characterizes them and me l admire them for that!
