BB Cream has never upped their game since I met Helen Park’s Beaming Mirror BB Cream.
This BB Cream is part of Helen Park’s Perfect cover set. You can either use it alone or use this BB cream with the Helen Park M Powder. But for this review, I’ll introduce to you the Beaming Mirror BB Cream in depth.
So like any other BB Creams in the market, it promises blemish coverage, pore coverage, and UV protection.
How this BB Cream steps up from any other BB Creams is that it doesn’t simply provide coverage but it also provides additional skin care.
Beaming Mirror Cream gives extra moisture which secures a healthier skin and prevents oiliness to the skin. This moisturizing effect also gives wrinkle care.
What we see in its packaging is that promises us whitening and anti-wrinkle effect and it provides SPF30/PA++.
This BB Cream champions its adhesiveness like no other. Because it wraps the skin with moisture, it provides a more long lasting coating. I can say the truth to this one because I am using eyeglasses and I always hate it when my makeup rubs off the bridge of my nose every time. This BB Cream actually just answered my problem!
It also takes pride in its natural coverage that effectively covers thick blemishes in just a thin application.
Because the Helen Park collection of cosmetics always tells us “less is more” this BB Cream also does not exempt from that rule. You need only very little amount to cover your face.
Its coverage is actually on top that it saves us from using any more makeup bases like foundation, concealer, and even a primer can be skipped.
One thing I like about this feature is that it’s not heavy on your face because you only need to apply a little amount. It also doesn’t cake up in the long run.
Like what I’ve mentioned before, it’s coverage is basically the best that I encountered so far. Its coverage is very natural that you look like you don’t have any makeup at all! Natural makeup at its best! This is also how it got its name Mirror BB Cream because it says its coverage is unbelievably good that you can’t stop looking at your face in the mirror!
This BB Cream comes in only one shade. Though you don’t need to worry about your skin tone. I believe it blends well to any skin tone.
It also had a mid type of consistency that is not too thick nor too light as well. Though, because of its adhesiveness, its a bit sticky that applying it might require you to have the right tool with you. I tried different ways to apply it on the face. I find using a rubber sponge or the Helen Park Air puff works well with it. [You can use the air puff that comes with the M Powder or you can purchase the Air Puff separately]
additional note: even applying it with bare hands is quite inconvenient. Most of the product sticks to your fingers that spreading it only feels more sticky and patchy. Fingers = No No
The packaging comes in a white box and a 40ml silver tube inside. Both prints in the box and tube are in black and pink. This gives me that feminine kind of impression that I like compared to the tan colored tube it has previously.
I give it a half rate down because it gave me a hard time figuring out how to deal with its consistency when applying. hahahah~! However, I strongly recommend this to everyone most especially to those who are looking for a faster makeup routine every day. Say goodbye to the layers and layers of makeup base!
