Lee Sung Kyung is probably one of the world’s most loved K-celebrity up to date because of her pure talent and undeniable visual.
This unni has appeared in a lot of dramas, starred in a number of music videos, posed for editorials and walked many runways already. But what separates Lee Sun Kyung from the rest of the K-celebrities, is her signature one-color tone makeup that only she can pull off in the most glamorous way.
Lee Sung Kyung has a pair of naturally brown eyes that pulls as in every time. These pair of eyes are undeniably the reason why she is more attractive than how we think she is. And she is actually making a good job rocking her one-tone makeup that compliments perfectly with these pretty eyes.
Let’s try to go deeper on how this unni is doing her makeup right.
Firstly, what we would notice is that Lee Sung Kyung sticks to natural earth color tone makeup. These colors include shades of brown, coffee, tan, peach, coral and on the certain occasion some shades of pink. These colors perfectly compliment her brown eyes.
Here are some of her drama roles that showed us how she shines brightly in this one-color tone makeup.
It’s Okay It’s Love:
She goes with the role of a senior high student in the name of Oh So Nyeo. With this said, her makeup goes in a feminine and youthful flush. Thus we see she uses a peachy tone for her makeup. They used minimal flush on her eye shadow with no smokey edges of any sort and then a youthful blush of peach and pink is used on her cheeks. Her lips are just the right tone of pinky-peach tone. What we see here though is that they went a bit strong on her eyes with a deep under eye makeup to complete that rebellious look for the senior student.
For this look, they settled for a peach-pink color tone makeup that compliments her pink highlights and young teen role.

The Queen’s Flower:
Lee Sung Kyung plays the role of a company employee in her early to mid-20s in this drama. So we would see an image of someone who undergoes the transition from a young adult to a full grown adult.
Here we see they use orange-brown color tone for her makeup. They used a simple dab of color for her eyes, a bit of a flush on cheeks and not too strong for an eyeliner. They went up a little on her lip color, though, just to give that more mature look. This shows us a kind of no-makeup or a lipstick only look.

Cheese in the Trap:
We all probably fell in love with Lee Sung Kyung and her undeniable crazy charms as Baek In Ha. In this drama, she plays the role of a 20s bum who neither has a job nor goes to school but instead just enjoys her life shopping and clubbing. Simply put, she’s a party animal and a fashionista of some sort.
To pull off this character, Lee Sung Kyung went a bit strong in her makeup most;, especially with her eyes. They used dark brown color tone makeup for her eye shadow with a smokey finish on the edges. Her cheeks were emphasized with a strong brown tone blush. And then they went for a thick winged eyeliner that made her sharp eyes even sharper. As for this look, they went strong on the lipstick colors; stepping out from the color tone they used for her face. Her lipstick colors went from a dark brown to strong red and plum colors that gave her the glamorous party animal feel.

Jin Seo Woo as she is known in Doctors; a surgeon in her 30s who has a sharp and envious personality. In this drama, she is moving between two personalities. Someone who has a lot of hatred, yet someone who is kind at the same time. Thus her visuals are not too sharp yet not too soft as well.
For this look, she uses a mocha-caramel color tone makeup which goes in between brown and peach colors. Not too strong makeup is used for her eyes; just a simple shade and natural eyeliner. What was defined more in this look is her cheeks. The mocha-caramel color gave her that natural but sharp feature on her beautiful cheekbones.

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo:
This time Lee Sung Kyung made one big turn in character as Lee Bok Joo. Stepping out from her feminine image, This character is more hard and boyish than normal. Lee Bok Joo is a weightlifting athlete in her 20s. As for this character, they went on with a serious peach shade to depict that of an athlete who has a lot of body heat from all the hard work and training. So to speak she is kind of the tomboy in this drama. So probably bb creams or cushions are not her best friend.
A lot of peach color tones are used in her eyes cheeks and lips depicting a skin that is bare, uncovered and hot from all the physical activity.
